We are looking for an accomplished Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial strategy and performance of our wood and furniture manufacturing operations in Westbury, New York. This executive will guide budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and long-term planning while partnering closely with leadership to support growth and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate brings strong financial leadership, relationship management skills, and the ability to translate complex data into practical business decisions.

Responsibilities:
• Direct the organization’s financial planning activities, including annual budgets, forecasts, cash flow oversight, and long-range business planning.
• Partner with executive leadership to shape financial strategies that support profitability, scalable operations, and sustainable growth.
• Oversee accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of key business insights.
• Build productive relationships with banking partners, insurers, vendors, and other external stakeholders to support the company’s financial objectives.
• Evaluate business performance through detailed analysis of revenue, cost structures, and operational trends, then recommend actions to improve results.
• Lead responses to inbound financial and business inquiries from internal leaders, external partners, and other stakeholders with professionalism and clarity.
• Support risk management efforts by reviewing insurance programs, financial exposures, and policies that protect the business.
• Collaborate with operational teams to align financial priorities with manufacturing goals, inventory management, and customer commitments.

• Must have NetSuite software experience

• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including senior-level responsibility for financial strategy and organizational performance.

• Proven background in a CFO or comparable executive finance role, preferably within manufacturing, industrial, or product-based environments.

• Strong ability to develop and maintain trusted business relationships across executive teams, external partners, and key stakeholders.

• Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, reporting, and cash management.

• Knowledge of risk management practices, including oversight of health insurance or broader employee benefits programs.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to address inquiries clearly and influence decision-making at the leadership level.

• Experience working with operational and commercial teams to connect financial planning with broader business objectives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; advanced credentials such as CPA or MBA are preferred.
