Job Description

You will support a caseload of 15 students with mild to moderate needs, empowering them every step of the way from the start of the 2026-2027 academic year.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Current and valid teaching certification in Special Education for the state of Ohio
- Experience working with 5th-8th grade students preferred
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to supporting students with diverse learning needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted instruction and support to students with mild to moderate exceptionalities
- Develop, review, and implement effective IEPs in collaboration with families and school staff
- Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to support individual learning plans
- Monitor and document student progress, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that celebrates every student’s strengths and progress
