Job Summary
The Certified Care Aide is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs. We are actively looking for qualified caregivers to cover both daytime shifts to help meet the diverse needs of our clients. We are seeking an experienced Home Care Aide (HCA) with specialized skills and experience in memory care and mobility support/transfers to support our senior clients in the South Bay area. Applicants must demonstrate reliability and punctuality for all scheduled shifts. skills

Responsibilities 

• Assistance with personal care and hygiene
• Meal Preparation
• Can perform light lifts as needed
• Light Housekeeping
• Accompany clients on outings
• Shopping and errands
• Medication Assist/ Reminders
• Ambulation and transporting of clients
• Provide companionship to clients
• Ability to follow care-plan
• Documentation/Charting
  
  

Qualifications

• Certified Care Aide Certificate (HCA Registration)
• Certified Nursing Assistant (strongly preferred) 
• Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain 
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Ability to travel around location territory / With reliable mode of transportation 
• Access to internet/mobile phone
• 18 years or older
• Fingerprint/Live Scan Clearance
• Entry-level and Annual Training
• 2+ years in home care or facility setting
• Strong empathetic communication skills 
• Highly reliable and dependable with shift attendance
• Bilingual: Spanish speaking or other languages highly desired
