Job DescriptionNAPA Auto Parts (Premier Parts, Inc.) is searching for an experienced Store Manager who truly cares about our employees and customers. The Store Manager will be responsible for driving store sales growth, managing employees to the superior levels of customer service NAPA has come to expect and engaging in all store operations. ResponsibilitiesManage all daily store operations to improve market penetration while providing excellent customer serviceCreate a superior customer service experience to drive store growth and increase sales and profitabilityContinue to build upon relationships with customers in our market and surrounding areasAssist ownership to plan workloads and assign work schedules on a daily/weekly basisEnsure that retail and commercial customers have an exceptional shopping experience and have all of their sales and service questions answeredAssist in inventory management and stockingMaintain a safe work environment, including vehicles, for all employeesWork with the dealer counter to ensure orders and deliveries are going out in a timely mannerAssist customers with their auto parts questions and needs, either in person or over the phoneReview sales trends and progress with store salespeople, ownership, employees and distribution center management teamsDemonstrate a positive, helpful attitude as well as professional conduct and appearance at all timesTarget new markets for expanding wholesale efforts through increased outside selling, targeting of Major Account customers, and the addition of new NAPA Auto Care membersQualifications5+ years of previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry2+ years of automotive industry management experience preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced retail environmentKnowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systemsValid driver license and acceptable motor vehicle driving record per our insurance carrier's guidelinesMust be able to pass standard pre-employment drug screening as well as CRT physical exam
