PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:Assist children while they engage in group and individual sports activitiesMaintain a safe and clean work environmentAssist with morning drop-off and check-in as well as afternoon pick-up and sign-outAssist other counselors/coaches with any other duties as assigned by Child Watch ManagerMaintain effective discipline and safety procedures during child activitiesTransport children to and from schoolAll other duties as assigned by managementMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Ability to work with a wide variety of children, ages from 7-12 Flexible work schedule and regular attendance is necessaryExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environmentMust be detail-orientated and have outstanding organizational skillsAbility to multitask and prioritizeAbility to remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situationsMust be respectful and friendly to our athletes, guests, and fellow team membersMust work well with othersMust take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and facilityAble to enter information on a computerWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist highWill be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bendMust be able to identify problems and/or hazards and resolve or report to managementMust comply with safety and health code standardsFacility has intermittent noiseAble to run/walk as neededPREFERRED:CPR/First Aid CertifiedCamp experienceExperience organizing youth activitiesCustomer service and/or staff management experience
