Position Summary Responsible for efficient processing of residential mortgage loan applications. Essential FunctionsDisclose new mortgage applications in a timely, accurate and compliant mannerManage a pipeline of conventional, government and/or portfolio loans. The Bank's general expectation is to keep individual pipelines to a maximum of 45 per processor.Evaluate all new loan documentation to ensure a timely and efficient submission into underwriting Maintain high level of customer service with proactive communication between borrowers, Sales and Operations managementCollect and review all loan conditions prior to re-submission to underwriting for final approvalEnsure accurate, complete and timely loan data being entered into loan processing systemAssist, on a "as needed" basis, in the follow-up for post-closing documentationAssist in implementation of new products and programs when necessaryAssist in specials projects when necessarySupport branch network regarding mortgage loans status, policy, procedures and productsLiaison between realtors, title companies, attorneys and investorsMaintain current knowledge of all industry and bank policies and procedures Education and ExperienceHigh school graduate or equivalentCollege Degree preferred5 years residential mortgage processing experience requiredStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsSound judgment and strong decision-making abilitySelf-motivated with ability to work independently Must possess excellent interpersonal and written communication skillsAbility to multi-task and to prioritize responsibilitiesAbility to work under pressure and tight deadlinesHighly reliable and detail orientedExcellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook are required. Familiarity with systems such as Encompass and Desktop Underwriter is a plus Skills/Knowledge/Abilities RequiredKnowledgeable of all TRID guidelinesAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
