Y on the Fly - Activities Coordinator

Position Summary:Under the supervision of the Community Program Director, the Y on the Fly Coordinator  is responsible for the development, organization, implementation, and evaluation of the Y on the Fly program in Alliance and the surrounding communities. The Y on the Fly Coordinator ensures that all operations i.e., direct program implementation and management duties are carried out in a manner that delivers exceptional service to program participants and funders. Rate of Pay$14.30/hour - commensurate with experience Hours15-20 per week QualificationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsTwo years experience in the area of youth development, education, social services, community outreachAbility to problem solve and communicate effectivelyMust be able to work in an outdoor environment, with all that accompanies itCPR, First Aid and AED training ResponsibilitiesFacilitate daily activities. Includes STEM and CATCH program implementationMaintains an accurate system of records and reportsInsure safety of program participantsProgram participant reward and incentive programs
