Pipefitter

RQ is seeking skilled Pipefitters to support our Mechanical Operations team on projects located at NS Mayport in Jacksonville, FL and the surrounding areas. All work is to be performed on the military base and is paid the required Davis-Bacon prevailing wage, specific to the base. Pipefitters are responsible for installing, assembling, laying out, and maintaining piping systems on commercial construction projects. This role requires producing high-quality work that meets project specifications, building codes, and industry standards while following all safety requirements. Candidates should have strong pipefitting experience, be proficient with the tools and equipment used in commercial mechanical installations, and be committed to delivering safe, quality work in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.RQ specializes in accelerated, ground-up commercial construction projects for both private and public-sector clients, with a significant concentration in Department of Defense construction and infrastructure work.Pay: $51.59 - $53.00Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(K) with Match, 1 week of vacation and sick time.Preferred Skills & CertificationsHigh school diploma or G.E.D. is the minimal education required for this positionValid Pipefitter license or journeyman card or equivalent years of experienceMechanical Pipe InstallationDeep underground experienceStart-up and Energizing Experience (Boilers, Chillers)Valid Pipefitter license or journeyman card is preferredCurrent Welding certificateCPR, First Aid, and OSHA-10 certifications preferredBecome part of the RQ team and help support high-impact construction projects.
