PCA Field Supervisor - Flexible, Assignment-Based RoleMaineTouch LLC is seeking an experienced RN, LPN, CNA, PSS, or other licensed care professional to serve as a PCA Field Supervisor supporting our Personal Care Agency program across Maine.This role is designed to support staff supervision, training, onboarding, and quality assurance as our PCA program continues to grow. The position is assignment-based and task-based, not full-time, and is ideal for experienced professionals seeking flexible, field-based work.This role is also well suited for individuals who are interested in stepping into a supervisory role, gaining hands-on leadership experience, and receiving training to potentially grow into Senior Supervisor, Field Manager, or Program Management roles as MaineTouch expands.Why Join MaineTouch?Assignment-based compensation, paid per assignment or taskMaineTouch covers required travel and reimburses approved work-related expensesFlexible scheduling based on program needsOpportunity to learn, train, and grow into supervisory and management rolesHands-on leadership experience in a growing PCA programMeaningful impact on staff success and quality of client careAbility to work independently with administrative supportSupportive leadership and compliance-focused operationsJob Description / ResponsibilitiesThe PCA Field Supervisor supports the quality and growth of MaineTouch's Personal Care program by completing field-based supervisory, training, and support functions.Primary responsibilities include:Conducting supervisory visits with Personal Support Specialist (PSS) field staffCompleting admissions visits and client meet-and-greet visitsPerforming company orientation for newly hired PSS staffFollowing up with new hires to ensure smooth onboarding and acclimationConducting observed performance visits at 30-, 60-, and 90-day intervalsCompleting 30-day follow-up conversations with new staffProviding coaching, training, and initial intervention during client visits as neededSupporting staff development and performance improvementEnsuring positive customer service in all interactions with clients and familiesMaintaining clear, accurate, and timely documentationCommunicating effectively with MaineTouch administrative and field staffCompleting required documentation using agency-approved systems and toolsPerforming duties within the scope of the role and in accordance with Maine PCA regulationsThis position reports to the PCA Program Manager or Administrator.Work Structure and Role GrowthThis role is per assignment and per taskHours are not guaranteedAssignments are based on staff supervision requirements, onboarding and training needs, admissions, meet-and-greet visits, and initial intervention or coaching needsThis position is being introduced as a pilot role and is expected to grow over timeIndividuals in this role may receive additional training and responsibility as the program expands, with opportunities to move into ongoing supervisory, field management, or program leadership rolesWho This Position Is Ideal ForThis role is well suited for individuals who:Have experience in home care or personal care services and are interested in supervision or leadershipWant to learn and grow into a Supervisor, Field Manager, or Program Manager rolePrefer flexible, assignment-based work while gaining management experienceCan operate independently in the field and travel throughout MaineQualificationsPSS certification with at least one year of experience as a PSS, orRegistered CNA in the State of Maine, orLicensed RN or LPN in the State of Maine, orAnother licensed healthcare professional with relevant home care or supervisory experience, orA combination of five (5) years of education and/or experience in a related fieldAdditional requirements:Strong communication and conflict-resolution skillsAbility to prioritize work and meet deadlinesRespect for client confidentiality and privacyBasic computer skills and ability to complete electronic documentationAdult Mandated Reporter training or willingness to completeReliable transportation and valid driver's licenseGood driving recordEligibility to work in the United StatesAdditional InformationJob type: Assignment-based, field-basedWork location: In person (client homes and field settings)Schedule: Flexible, based on assignmentsTravel: Statewide MaineExpenses: MaineTouch reimburses mileage and approved work-related expensesEmployment classification: W-2 or 1099 options available, depending on role structure and assignment needs How to ApplyApply today to begin the hiring process.
