Youth Development Professional (YDP) – Clyde Boys & Girls Club
Boys & Girls Club of the Big Country – Clyde Club
Pay: $12.00–$13.50 per hour, depending on experience

The Boys & Girls Club of the Big Country is looking for energetic, dependable, and caring Youth Development Professionals (YDPs) to join our Clyde Club team.
YDPs provide a safe, positive, and engaging environment where youth can learn, grow, build friendships, and have fun. This is a hands-on position working directly with children and teens.
What You'll Do
  • Provide active supervision of Club members at all times.
  • Build positive and professional relationships with youth.
  • Plan and lead fun, engaging activities and programs.
  • Assist with homework and academic activities.
  • Participate in sports, recreation, arts, games, and other Club activities.
  • Encourage positive behavior, teamwork, and good character.
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming Club environment.
  • Assist with member check-in, attendance, and other daily procedures.
  • Help with special events, field trips, and Club activities.
  • Communicate professionally with parents, staff, and Club leadership.
  • Follow all Boys & Girls Club of the Big Country safety policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a positive role model for Club members.
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience working with children or teens is preferred but not required.
  • Dependable and responsible.
  • Positive, patient, energetic, and able to work as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to actively participate in activities with youth.
  • Must successfully complete required background checks and training.
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Schedule
Part-Time – Monday through Friday 3:00pm - 7:00pm (some flexibility with college schedules)
Afternoon hours during the school year, with additional hours possible during school breaks and special programs.
