Here, your growth powers our success.Position OverviewThe VRF Piping Mechanic is responsible for installing and supporting Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) piping systems on commercial mechanical projects.This role requires strong brazing and copper piping skills, the ability to read mechanical drawings, and collaboration with project managers, HVAC technicians, and other trades to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall VRF refrigerant piping systems according to manufacturer specificationsInstall condensate piping, insulation, hangers, and support systemsMeasure, cut, fabricate, and assemble copper refrigerant pipingPerform brazing, soldering, pressure testing, and leak detectionCoordinate piping connections with indoor and outdoor VRF unitsAssist with system testing, commissioning, and startupTroubleshoot and repair VRF piping systems when neededCollaborate with electricians, general contractors, and other trades on job sitesMaintain accurate work documentation and daily reportsKeep job sites clean, organized, and safeFollow OSHA safety standards and company policiesApply if you have experience with:VRF piping installationCopper brazing for HVAC systemsRefrigerant piping installationCommercial HVAC construction projectsQualifications3+ years of HVAC piping installation experience1+ year of hands-on VRF system installation experienceAbility to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawingsStrong brazing and copper pipe fabrication skillsAbility to work independently or as part of a teamValid driver's license and reliable transportationCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly pay ($25–$35/hour)Weekly paycheckComprehensive medical and financial benefitsPaid Time Off (PTO)401(k) retirement planLong-term project stability with a strong commercial backlogOpportunities for career advancement and skill developmentCollaborative team-oriented cultureMany of our Foremen and field leaders started their careers as mechanics and advanced within the company.
