Supervisor – Commercial Kitchen Cleaning

Full-Time | $26.00 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Sanitation Supervisor to oversee commercial kitchen cleaning operations across multiple locations. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for supervising and training team members, coordinating schedules, maintaining supplies and equipment, and ensuring all work meets contractual, safety, and quality standards.

Previous supervisory experience in commercial kitchen cleaning is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and support kitchen cleaning crews across multiple locations.
• Schedule, train, coach, and motivate team members to meet performance expectations.
• Ensure all cleaning services are completed safely, efficiently, and according to contract specifications.
• Conduct daily walkthroughs and quality-control inspections with team members.
• Inspect maintenance closets, equipment, and supplies for cleanliness, organization, and safety.
• Maintain positive and professional relationships with clients, team members, and management.
• Respond promptly to cleaning requests received by email or telephone.
• Attend client meetings, training sessions, and facility walkthroughs.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate the ordering of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Maintain required reports, records, and operational documentation.
• Identify and implement improvements to procedures, workflow, and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate and complete special projects as assigned.
• Perform other related duties as needed.

Qualifications

• At least two years of supervisory or facilities-management experience in the commercial cleaning or janitorial industry.
• At least two years of commercial kitchen cleaning experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing employees and operations across multiple locations.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
• Basic computer skills, including the ability to communicate by email and maintain electronic records.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing work environment.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required

Physical and Scheduling Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform the physical duties associated with commercial kitchen cleaning and facility inspections.
• Availability to work graveyard shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as operationally required.

Job Type: Full-time 

  Pay: $26.00 per hour 

  Shift: Graveyard shift 10pm – 6:30am
