Director of Counseling Center

For more than 126 years, Epworth Children's Home has grown and adapted to the individual needs of children and families by providing a safe and nurturing environment, evidence-based practices, and programs across the continuum of care.  JOB SUMMARY: The Director of the Counseling Center is responsible for the oversight, staff supervision and coordination of The Center's mental health and counseling services.  QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D/Psy.D.in clinical or counseling psychology preferred; Professional license in the state of South Carolina required. Professional licenses may include LISW, LPC or LMFT. Minimum of five years of experience working in a mental health setting with supervisory responsibilities. Prefer seven years of progressive experience with at least two years in a leadership position. REQUIRED SKILLS: Experience conducting diagnostic evaluations, and treatment assessments. Must be proficient with various software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and electronic communication. Know or have the ability to quickly learn any database system required.
