Customer Service Underwriting Supervisor

We are seeking an Underwriting Supervisor to join our team!The Underwriting Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and monitoring the Personal Lines Underwriting team with a strong focus on quality and timeliness. They will review exceptions and make determinations based on established Underwriting rules and procedures. Individual will schedule, prioritize and assign work for optimum productivity.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Identify training needs and assist in designing training programs for department and employeesMonitor and report on processing and phone performance standards for each employeePerform monthly assigned number of underwriting and processing audits for each employeeProvide input for performance appraisals on processing, underwriting quality and quantityProvide input for any processing or underwriting related performance issuesDevelop positive and productive relationships with Independent ProducersMentor and guide Underwriting staffCoordinates efforts with the internal business partners in the areas of Actuarial, Underwriting, Claims,Accounting, and Human Resources to ensure operational efficiencies at the branch levelContinuously logged into the Personal Lines ACD (last in queue)May perform additional duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: College degree, or related industry experience3 + years of underwriting experienceSolid knowledge of technical underwritingAbility to work independently on technical and administrative matters in accordance with company policy and proceduresPossess leadership, training and development abilitiesExcellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skillsOn-Site PositionWarrior Insurance Network (WIN) provides a competitive benefits package to all full- time employees.
