Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical unit setting
• Perform cardiac rhythm strip interpretation as part of ongoing patient monitoring
• Conduct and document neurological assessments utilizing the NIHSS scale
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
• Participate in weekend shift rotations as scheduled (6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a valid Compact State license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Ability to read and interpret cardiac rhythm strips
• Must reside outside an 80-mile radius of the facility per travel contract requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health records documentation
• Previous travel nursing experience
• Current PALS certification
