Job Title

Emergency Room Registered Nurse – Day/Evening Flex

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Day/Evening Flex Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, prescribe, delegate, coordinate, and evaluate nursing care provided to emergency room patients
• Ensure provision of quality care through utilization of the nursing process, established standards of care, policies, and procedures
• Develop and maintain written Nursing Care Plans for assigned patients
• Serve as patient advocate throughout the care continuum
• Direct and supervise personnel assigned to the unit
• Report to the Unit Nurse Manager or House Supervisor as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction or supervision
• Experience working in a fast-paced, trauma-level environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Trauma Level 3 emergency department
• Comfort working in a smaller team environment alongside a full-time ER physician
• Experience in rural or critical access hospital settings
