We are a growing infusion pharmacy located in beautiful Kalispell, MT, specializing in both sterile (intravenous and injectable preparations) and non-sterile (including hormone replacement therapy, dermatological, and veterinary) compounding. Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our sterile compounding team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in sterile environments, with a strong commitment to accuracy, cleanliness, and adherence to regulatory standards. There is a possibility of cross-training to non-sterile compounding at a later date.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare sterile compounded medications according to prescription orders, standard operating procedures and Montana and federal law.
  • Maintain proper documentation in compliance with USP <797>, and <800> regulations.
  • Ensure cleanliness and aseptic conditions in sterile compounding areas (cleanroom, laminar flow hoods).
  • Accurately measure and mix ingredients using calibrated equipment.
  • Package and label finished products with a high degree of precision.
  • Assist in inventory control, ordering, and restocking of compounding supplies.
  • Support pharmacists in daily operations and uphold a high standard of patient care and safety.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Willingness to obtain Montana Pharmacy Technician License.
  • Ability to obtain National Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) in a reasonable time.
  • Previous experience in sterile compounding highly preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to aseptic technique.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and a team player.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.

Salary Range: DOE (Dependent on Experience)
