About this job
Job Description
We're a growing group of businesses looking for a talented, self-driven Video Editor & Content Producer to build our content operation from the ground up. This is a rare all-in-one creative role: you'll film it, edit it, produce it, and get it published across YouTube and social media.
To be clear, this is a big job — for now, you'll be a one-person production team, owning everything end to end. We're looking for someone who wants to grow with us: as the content operation scales, the right person will help us build out and eventually lead the entire production team.
If you're the kind of person who sees a great story in an everyday moment, obsesses over pacing and captions, and can turn a single afternoon of filming into a week's worth of content, we want to talk to you.
What You'll Do
• Plan, film, and produce video content across multiple businesses (educational, behind-the-scenes, explainer, promotional, and social-first formats)
• Shoot on location and in-studio — comfortable running camera, lighting, and audio on your own
• Edit long-form video for YouTube and short-form vertical video for Instagram, TikTok, and Shorts
• Cut, caption, color, and add motion graphics/titles that fit our brands
• Manage the content calendar and publish/schedule posts across platforms
• Repurpose long-form content into multiple short-form clips
• Track what's performing and adjust based on engagement and analytics
• Collaborate directly with leadership to develop content ideas and turn expertise into watchable, shareable video
What We're Looking For
• Proven experience as a video editor and/or content producer (share your reel/portfolio)
• Strong command of editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or equivalent)
• Hands-on filming skills: camera operation, framing, lighting, and clean audio capture
• An eye for pacing, storytelling, and social-first formats that hold attention
• Ability to manage the full pipeline independently — from concept to published post
• Organized, reliable, and able to hit a consistent publishing cadence
• Familiarity with YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and their best practices
• Ambition to grow into a leadership role and build a team over time
Must Have’s
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) — a major plus for reaching our audience
• Motion graphics / basic animation skills
• Experience creating content for a brand or small business
• Basic graphic design (thumbnails, on-screen graphics)
• Understanding of SEO and social growth strategy
What You'll Get
• A role where you own the creative vision and see your work reach a real audience
• A clear path to grow into leading a production team
• Variety — you won't be shooting and editing the same thing every day
• Direct collaboration with leadership and real room to grow and carve out your position with our companies
