Legal Assistant

Established Personal Injury Law Firm Legal Assistant with personal injury experience.

Qualified individuals must have previous experience and understanding of how to disburse plaintiff personal injury files and be familiar with Med-Pay and dealing with the settlement breakdowns and percentages.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Working one on one with Attorneys
• Confirming medical providers clients treated with prior to disbursing funds to ensure we’re paying all providers what their final bills are
• Verify all health insurance liens before disbursing funds
• Requesting reductions
• Preparing files to be disbursed

Prefer high energy individuals who can work in a fast paced team environment, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
