Legal Assistant

Established Personal Injury Law Firm is seeking a Legal Assistant with Personal Injury Experience.

Qualified individuals must have previous experience and understanding of how to disburse Plaintiff Personal Injury files and be familiar with Med-Pay and dealing with the settlement breakdowns and percentages.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Working one on one with Attorneys.
• Confirming medical providers clients treated with prior to disbursing funds to ensure we’re paying all providers what their final bills are.
• Verify all health insurance liens before disbursing funds.
• Requesting reductions.
• Preparing files to be disbursed.

Prefer high energy individuals who can work in a fast paced team environment, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
