This 13-week Mammography Technologist assignment is based in Denver, Colorado, a lively city at the base of the Rocky Mountains. Denver offers a mix of urban excitement and outdoor recreation, with a walkable downtown, great restaurants, museums, live music, and easy access to hiking, biking, skiing, and snowboarding. You will work in a modern imaging department providing screening and diagnostic mammograms for adult patients. A typical day includes reviewing orders, preparing the mammography room, explaining procedures, positioning patients, and producing high-quality digital images following established protocols and MQSA standards. You will collaborate with radiologists and fellow technologists, use EMR and PACS systems, and contribute to routine quality control tasks. Shifts are generally daytime hours, with patient volumes that keep your skills sharp while remaining manageable within a supportive, team-oriented environment.
