SUMMARY
Our Bowl Patrol plays a vital role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests throughout Grand Targhee Resort's on-mountain facilities. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of public restrooms and high-traffic guest areas, restocking essential supplies, supporting Food & Beverage operations, and assisting other resort departments with laundry and deliveries. Bowl Patrol team members work efficiently in a fast-paced outdoor mountain environment while providing exceptional guest service, identifying maintenance concerns, and promoting resort safety and sustainability. This position requires a positive attitude, attention to detail, flexibility to work weekends and holidays, and a commitment to enhancing every guest's experience at Grand Targhee Resort.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Clean and sanitize on-mountain restrooms and other public areas, including toilets, sinks, floors, fixtures, and other high-touch surfaces to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.Empty trash and recycling receptacles, replace liners, and ensure proper waste disposal in accordance with resort guidelines and environmental standards.Restock restroom supplies, including toilet paper, facial tissue, hand soap, paper towels, hand sanitizer, and air fresheners to ensure facilities remain fully stocked throughout the day.Restock back-of-house Food & Beverage areas with necessary supplies before the end of each shift.Monitor facilities for maintenance issues, damage, or safety hazards and promptly report concerns to the appropriate maintenance personnel and supervisors.Launder and deliver linens and other items for departments including Kids Club, First Aid, and Lifts as needed.Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to ensure resort facilities remain clean, organized, sanitary, and free of hazards.Maintain knowledge of resort activities, events, and amenities to provide exceptional customer service and accurate information to guests.Foster a positive guest experience by maintaining clean, comfortable restroom facilities and providing friendly, professional, and approachable service to all guests and team members.Support resort-wide and departmental sustainability initiatives through environmentally responsible cleaning practices and waste management.Some job-sharing required.
RESPONSIBILITIES TO SAFETY:
Protect the safety of self, workers, and Grand Targhee Resort guests.Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay.Report safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor.Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures as outlined in the Resorts Occupational Safety & Health Compliance Manual and department-specific procedures or manuals.Operate equipment safely so that it will not lead to injury to yourself or others.Drive in accordance with the law and Grand Targhee Resort policies.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
WORK SCHEDULE
Due to the nature of the recreation industry, we are in operation seven days a week. This includes weekends and holidays and there is no guarantee of hours. Flexible working hours may be required based on the business levels.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in guest service and hospitality desired, cleaning experience is preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Preferred to have a valid Drivers License and qualify for Resort insurance.Must be at least an intermediate skier/snowboarder.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Able to accurately read and make measurements. Ability to calculate measurements, amounts such as amount of cleaning solution to use, proportions, percentages, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before internal and external guests.
Ability to read and comprehend short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Excellent verbal communication skills.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Must be at least an intermediate skier/snowboarder and able to load a chair lift and ski/ride with a backpack.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold, and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
