Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology RN for an outpatient cancer clinic requiring a WI or Compact RN license and prior oncology experience.

• Outpatient Medical Hematology/Oncology Clinic setting
\n
• Fast-paced clinic environment coordinating care across infusion and radiation teams
\n
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
\n
• Epic EMR experience preferred
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active WI or Compact RN license required (pending license accepted at submission, must be obtained during compliance)
\n
• Current BLS certification required
\n
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in Oncology required
\n
• Prior travel nursing experience required
\n
• NIHSS certification may be pending at submission but must be completed during compliance
\n
• SSN, DOB, and RTO required for consideration
\n
• Two supervisor references required after offer acceptance
\n
• Passport-style badge photo required within 24 hours of offer acceptance
\n

Additional Information\n

• Triage patient phone calls and respond to MyChart messages
\n
• Enter physician orders including labs, diagnostics, and treatment plan follow-ups
\n
• Coordinate genetic testing and arrange diagnostic services for patients
\n
• Provide patient education including chemo teaching
\n
• Collaborate closely with infusion and radiation teams to coordinate patient care
\n
• Work directly with physicians and support APPs in care coordination
\n
• Track INR patients through labs and medications, and follow iron infusion patients
\n
• Care for patients with a variety of cancer types including breast, lung, colorectal, and blood cancers, among others
\n
• Administer and manage chemotherapy, including oral chemotherapy administration
\n
• Facility cannot accommodate candidates with latex allergies
