- Work hours: Night Shift Full Time 36 Hours 7PM-7AM rotating schedule including rotating weekends and holidays \n

Here’s What You Need

- Education
\n H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required \n
\n
- \n
- 3 months paramedic experience or completion of a paramedic internship Required
\n 1 Year paramedic experience in EMS or fire department Preferred \n
\n
- \n
- Licenses and Certifications
\n EMT-P - Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic Upon Hire Required Or
\n LP - Licensed Paramedic Upon Hire Required
\n ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Required And
\n BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required And
\n PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support 90 Days Required And
\n CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Required \n

- Possesses organizational skills to function in a fast-paced environment, positive interpersonal skills, good verbal, and written communication skills, able to perform basic computer skills. \n
What You Will Do:
\nPROVIDING INTERVENTIONS:
\nPerforms technical skills that are adapted to reflect the age-specific, developmental and diversity needs of the patient.
\nACCOUNTABILITY:
\nEnhances patient care skills. Serves as a patient advocate. Provides for patient privacy and dignity. Communicates per department expectations. Demonstrates cooperative relationships by showing willingness to support team members. Acceptable use of interpersonal relationship skills with patients, families, co- workers, physicians, all disciplines, and other customers.
\nSAFETY/INFECTION CONTROL:
\nIncorporates age specific safety/ infection control measures into patient care.
\nASSESSMENT:
\nCollects data relevant to the patient’s physical, psychosocial, cognitive, and religious needs.
\nKPI:
\nAssists in meeting departmental/hospital KPI’s related to: Patient outcomes, Customer satisfaction, financial performance, Organizational effectiveness, and Community health care
