We are seeking an experienced Medical Hematology/Oncology Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced outpatient oncology clinic. The ideal candidate will have strong oncology nursing experience and be comfortable coordinating complex patient care, triaging patient needs, supporting treatment plans, and collaborating closely with physicians, APPs, infusion teams, and radiation teams.
\nThe clinic nurse plays a key role in patient education, care coordination, treatment follow-up, and management of hematology/oncology patients.

- Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM \n
- 5x8-hour shifts \n
- No weekend coverage \n
- No call required \n
- Block scheduling is not available \n

- Minimum 3 years of RN experience \n
- Oncology experience required \n
- Travel experience required \n
- First-time travelers not accepted \n
- Active Wisconsin RN License or Compact RN License required \n

- BLS required \n
\n Hematology/Oncology Nursing\n
Experience with:

- Medical Hematology/Oncology patient care \n
- Oncology treatment coordination \n
- Chemotherapy patient support \n
- Patient education and symptom management \n
- Recognition and communication of abnormal lab values \n
- Oncology medication management \n
The RN will be responsible for:
\n- \n
- Triaging patient phone calls \n
- Responding to MyChart messages \n
- Entering physician orders, including labs and diagnostics \n
- Following up on treatment plans \n
- Coordinating genetic testing \n
- Arranging and coordinating diagnostic testing \n
- Providing chemotherapy education ("Chemo Talks") \n
- Supporting APPs and collaborating directly with physicians \n
- Coordinating care with Infusion and Radiation teams \n
- Tracking INR patients with labs and medications \n
- Following iron infusion patients \n

Candidates must have:

- Minimum 3 years RN experience \n
- Recent oncology nursing experience \n
- Medical Hematology/Oncology clinic experience preferred \n
- Active WI RN License or Compact License \n
- BLS certification \n
- Epic experience \n
- Travel experience (first-time travelers not accepted) \n
