Pay: $40.00 - $57.00 per hour (depending on assignment)

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) – PRN

LPN: $40–$47 (depending on assignment and shift)

RN: $50-$57 (depending on assignment and shift)

We frequently offer crisis shifts up to $50 per hour for LPN's and $60 for RN's

Job Summary

Kind Staffing Group is seeking compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our healthcare team on a PRN basis. These roles primarily support long-term care facilities, with additional opportunities to work in settings serving children with physical and developmental disabilities. Ideal candidates are clinically strong, patient-centered, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

· Provide direct nursing care to residents and pediatric clients in long-term care and disability support settings

· Perform assessments and contribute to individualized care plans (within LPN/RN scope of practice)

· Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols

· Monitor patient conditions and accurately document care provided

· Communicate changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare team members

· Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions

· Ensure compliance with state regulations, facility policies, and professional standards

· Educate patients and families on care and medications as appropriate

Qualifications

· Active and unrestricted Illinois LPN or RN license

· Minimum of 1 year of experience in a long-term care setting (required)

· Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills

· Ability to work PRN shifts, including possible weekends or holidays

Compliance & Regulatory Requirements

· Active Illinois nursing license in good standing (LPN or RN)

· Criminal background check and fingerprinting as required

· Drug screening

· TB screening and/or chest X-ray (current)

· Proof of required immunizations (including Hepatitis B, and COVID-19 per facility policy)

· Current BLS/CPR certification

· Physical examination verifying ability to perform job duties

Compensation & Benefits

· LPN pay: $40–$47/hour (depending on assignment)

· RN pay: $50-$57/hour (depending on assignment)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• RN
• BLS Certification
• LPN

Required qualifications:

• 18 years or older
• Medical license/certification: CPR Certification

• 1+ year of experience in the healthcare industry
