Kennel Assistant - Now Hiring

We are hiring a dependable and compassionate Kennel Assistant to join our team in either a part-time or full-time position. You will be responsible for the care and well-being of the animals in our facility as well as maintaining a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, passion for animal care and a strong work ethic.

Job Duties

• Feed and water animals and administer medications/treatments as directed by the doctor.
• Clean and sanitize cages, runs, and yards.
• Wash pet bedding, toys, and food bowls.
• Watch for changes in animal health or behavior.
• Monitor all occupied cages to ensure animals are clean, safe and comfortable at all times.
• Greet pet owners and answer basic questions.

Requirements

• True passion and care for animals.
• Meticulous cleaning and sanitation skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow strict instructions.
• Ability to self motivate and stay focused.
• High dependability and a strong work ethic.
• Weekend availability is required.
