Job Summary:
The location is in Hudson, Florida. The position is for a CT Technologist working night shifts at a busy imaging department within a healthcare facility. This role involves performing a variety of neuro, abdominal, and musculoskeletal computed tomography (CT) exams, including advanced procedures such as CT angiograms, biopsies, and oncology interventions, utilizing a state-of-the-art 256 slice scanner.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent), Florida state licensure, previous experience in a CT department, willing to work independently and as part of a team, ability to perform neuro, abdominal, and MSK imaging procedures, excellent patient care skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with advanced CT protocols, familiarity with new equipment and technology, ability to adapt protocols as per physician or protocol needs, willingness to learn new procedures through onsite and virtual training.
  • Additional Information: The imaging department has 3 beds with a team of 19 staff members, using GE 64 slice VCT, GE 64 slice EVO, and GE 256 slice Revolution CT scanners. The facility is a Level II Trauma Center and a comprehensive stroke center, performing extensive trauma and stroke scans, including biopsies, drains, and oncology interventions. The team works shoulder-to-shoulder with trauma surgeons, providing a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The facility policies include safety and exam protocols embedded in the scanner. Traveler schedules include working every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff.
