Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist specializing in computed tomography (CT) located in Lodi, California. This position involves operating CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images used for diagnosing medical conditions. The role also includes performing general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures, with responsibilities extending to maintaining equipment and ensuring patient confidentiality.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shift times include 6:30 AM, 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, 9:30 AM, 11:00 AM, 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM, 3:00 PM, 10:00 PM, and 11:00 PM.
- Required Qualifications: Equal to or exceeding one year of experience; Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology; Licenses and Certifications include registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT); radiologic technician (RT) licensure in California; Advanced certification in CT modality; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; fluoroscopy license in California if operating fluoroscopy equipment; venipuncture certification in California if administering contrast; facility-specific BLS and venipuncture (IV) certifications.
- Additional Information: Performs assessments, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care from adolescence through geriatrics. Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images and utilizes PACS and teleradiology systems for image transfer. Maintains accurate records and ensures patient data confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA. Conducts routine maintenance of equipment, manages supply inventory, and performs other related duties as assigned.
