Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Assistant Inpatient position available in a hospital setting located in Anchorage, Alaska. The role involves providing therapeutic services to inpatients within a busy acute care unit. The assignment emphasizes independence and excellent patient care skills, requiring flexibility to work a rotating schedule including weekends.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts, rotating schedule to include weekends, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) certification, 0 years of experience or more, valid licensure if applicable, and the ability to start on 08/24/2026
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous inpatient acute care experience is advantageous
- Additional Information: Weekend rotation, Saturday and Sundays; working in a hospital with electronic medical records (EPIC); unit has 175 beds and a team of 60 therapy providers including PTs, SLPs, PTAs, COTAs. The role requires adherence to unit policies and guidelines.
