Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist requiring ARRT CT/CRT certification (CA license, if applicable) and 2+ years of experience in a Level II Trauma, teaching, and community hospital setting.
Details
- CT Tech role within a radiology/cardiology department
- Adult and pediatric acute care setting including Emergency Department and Level II Trauma Center
- 13-week assignment length
- Night shift 5x8 hours (23:00-7:30) or Evening shift 5x8 hours (15:00-23:30)
- Uses Epic EMR
- GE CT equipment utilized
Requirements
- ARRT CT and CRT certification required, CA license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of CT Tech experience required
- Teaching hospital and community hospital experience required
- Level II Trauma Center experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Proficient in image display and post-processing including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), and ROI measurement
- Experience performing abdomen and pelvis CT studies with and without contrast, including colorectal and enterography studies
- Experience performing head, neck, spine, and musculoskeletal CT studies including trauma imaging
- Experience performing chest CT studies including vascular chest imaging (PE, CTA, aorta) and cardiac calcium scoring/coronary angiography preferred
- Knowledge of isolation precautions/PPE, contrast media preparation and administration, and radiation safety
Additional Information
- Local candidates accepted at local rate within a 50-mile radius
- Returning travelers must have a 1-year separation before returning to this facility
- Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract with only 1 holiday request approved per contract
- 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
- Copies of all certifications required for consideration
