Job Summary:
The Massachusetts-based X-ray Technologist position involves performing a variety of technical radiology procedures with minimal supervision. The role requires applying clinical judgment to facilitate accurate diagnoses while maintaining patient care standards, infection control practices, and confidentiality. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in operating PACS, HIS, RIS computer systems, and troubleshoot imaging applications.

- Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of radiology experience, with at least 1 year in current practice
- Active ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification
- Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License or proof of application
- BLS (American Heart Association or ARC) certification
- Own vehicle for travel
- Perm address must be included in profile and all scheduling requests made at submission.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Meditech Expanse system is strongly preferred
- Skills checklist: X-ray Technologist, current within 1 year
- Supervisory signed reference from within the past two years
- Additional Information:
- Proper care of patients in accordance with departmental and hospital policies is required.
- Infection control and body substance isolation practices are mandatory.
- Attends annual mandatory education including bloodborne pathogens, infection control, and body substance isolation.
- Requests for time off during the assignment must be noted and verified at profile upload; no requests after offer will be approved.
- Any/all RTO must be included in profile at submission.
- Travelers without voicemail setup will be redirected if the facility attempts to reach them.
- The facility will not consider travelers residing within 50 miles of the address provided.
