Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance experience is beneficial.

• Minimum of 1 year of janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping experience
• Experience cleaning commercial, industrial, or manufacturing environments preferred
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices and cleaning procedures

• Maintain cleanliness throughout manufacturing areas, offices, break rooms, locker rooms, restrooms, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize workspaces and high-traffic areas
• Replenish restroom and break room supplies as needed
• Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility
• Follow company cleaning schedules and sanitation procedures
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and professional environment for employees and visitors
• Comply with company policies, safety regulations, and OSHA standards
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to management

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience cleaning commercial, industrial, office, healthcare, educational, or manufacturing facilities is preferred.
• Experience operating floor care equipment, buffers, scrubbers, or other custodial equipment is beneficial.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning chemical usage, sanitation procedures, and workplace safety practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and pride in their work are well positioned for success as a Janitoral Services Technician.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely push, pull, and maneuver cleaning carts and equipment.
• Ability to work in a variety of indoor environments while following established safety procedures.
