Help Us Turn Donations Into Community Support!

Do you enjoy staying busy, working with your hands, and being part of a team? St. Vincent de Paul is looking for a dependable and energetic Dock Sorter/Processor to join our warehouse team!

In this role, you'll be one of the first team members our donors interact with. You'll help unload donations from customer vehicles, sort and process incoming items, and keep our donation dock organized and running efficiently. Every day is a little different, and your work directly supports our mission of serving people in our community.

What You'll Do

• Welcome and assist customers dropping off donations.
• Help safely unload donations from customer vehicles.
• Sort and process donated merchandise according to established procedures.
• Move, lift, carry, push, and pull donated items throughout the work area.
• Keep the donation dock and surrounding work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Properly handle materials and items that cannot be accepted or processed.
• Follow safety procedures and organizational policies.
• Work closely with warehouse supervisors and coworkers to keep donations moving efficiently.
• Help maintain a positive, productive, and team-oriented work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

You don't need years of warehouse experience to succeed in this position. We're looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, friendly, and ready to stay active throughout the workday.

• Have previous warehouse, distribution, donation processing, or materials-handling experience preferred, but not required.

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on position. The job requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling. Employees may work around donated goods, dust, and varying temperatures.
