Job Title: Cheese Cutter

Pay Rate: $16/hr.

Shift: 1st

Job Summary:

We are currently hiring a Cheese Cutter to join our production team. The Cheese Cutter will be responsible for safely cutting, weighing, packaging, and preparing cheese products while maintaining quality and food safety standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced food production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Cut and portion cheese products according to company specifications
• Operate cutting equipment and tools safely and efficiently
• Measure and weigh cheese portions to ensure accuracy
• Inspect products for quality, appearance, and consistency
• Package and label finished products according to customer requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following food safety guidelines
• Follow all safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Assist with production line tasks as needed
• Complete required paperwork and production records

Requirements:

• Previous food production, manufacturing, or warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to lift, push, and pull products as required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Must be able to work in a refrigerated/cold environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent standing, bending, reaching, and handling of products
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
