Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Integration Specialist to implement, configure, commission, and maintain Schneider Electric Power Monitoring Expert (PME) systems, including associated metering hardware, communications infrastructure, and server-based software components. This individual will ensure reliable data acquisition, system integration, and accurate reporting across customer power distribution systems.
The Integration Specialist will be responsible for configuring meters and communication networks (Modbus TCP/IP, RS-485, Ethernet), validating data integrity, and troubleshooting system performance issues. This role includes hands-on inspection, troubleshooting and commissioning of power meters and related equipment in low-, medium-, and high-voltage environments. The candidate must be comfortable interpreting electrical one-lines, control schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
In addition to PME responsibilities, this position will support integration with the Stark Optelligent platform, our building analytics, and continuous commissioning solution. This includes validating data streams from BMS and power monitoring systems, assisting with analytics deployment, supporting data mapping and tagging, and collaborating with controls teams to optimize building performance through actionable insights, and diagnostics.
Success in this role requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, system-level thinking, and the ability to work both independently in the field and collaboratively with engineering, programming, and service teams.
Compensation
The expected pay range for this position is $22.78 - $32.54 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
Stark Tech reasonably expects to pay within this range at the time of hire. Individual compensation is determined based on several factors including experience, education, certifications, skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
Work Experience
Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics, or related field or equivalent military or technical training.
24 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer, Controls Technician, or Integration Specialist working with electrical, electro-mechanical, or electronic systems preferred.
Demonstrated competence using diagnostic tools including digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, AC clamp meters, load banks, and other electrical test equipment.
Working knowledge ofswitchgear and power distribution systems.
Experience configuring communication networks and industrial protocols (Modbus RTU/TCP preferred).
Ability to write technical reports, procedures, and customer-facing documentation, and effectively communicate technical information to clients.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile field technology (iPads, smartphones, laptops).
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
Experience with Schneider Electric Power Monitoring Expert (PME).
Familiarity with building automation systems (BMS) and integration of power data into analytics platforms.
Experience in emergency power generation and distribution, including switchgear and generator control applications.
HMI/SCADA programming and troubleshooting experience, including graphics development, reporting, and alarm configuration.
Experience with building analytics, continuous commissioning, or fault detection and diagnostics platforms.
