Technologist – Computed Tomography (CT) / X-Ray (Afternoons)

Key Responsibilities- Perform primary diagnostic CT and general radiology procedures, including IV insertion and contrast injections, requiring independent judgment and critical thinking
- Operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, CT, and PACS applications; demonstrate proficiency with HIS and RIS computer systems
- Ensure proper patient care in accordance with departmental and facility policies, procedures, and OSHA standards
- Maintain patient confidentiality and practice infection control protocols in compliance with departmental and hospital policies
- Complete annual mandatory education requirements including blood-borne pathogens, infection control, and body substance isolation
- May assume supervisory or instructional responsibilities for department personnel as directed by lead or management
- Minimum 2 years of current, hands-on CT and X-Ray experience
- Active ARRT certification in both Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT)
- Active Massachusetts Radiology License
- Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certificationli>Current skills checklists for both X-Ray and CT (within the past 1 year) required at time of submission
- Must have reliable personal transportation
- Previous travel assignment experience of at least 6 months or more with a staffing agency (first-time agency travelers will not be considered)
- Experience with Meditech Expanse EMR system
- Willingness to take on additional duties within scope of practice during low-census periods
