Sales & Showroom Associate

Misty Mountain Furniture is looking for a friendly, dependable Part-Time Sales & Showroom Associate to join our team in Sandpoint, Idaho.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, has an eye for design, and isn't afraid to jump in and help wherever needed. You'll assist customers with furniture purchases and custom orders while also helping maintain an inviting showroom.

We're looking for someone who is personable, organized, and enjoys creating a great customer experience. Furniture or interior design experience is a plus, but we value attitude, professionalism, and a willingness to learn just as much.

Schedule

• Part-time
• 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Saturday availability is required
• Flexible scheduling available when time off is needed

What You'll Do

• Welcome customers and provide outstanding customer service
• Assist customers with furniture selections and custom orders
• Explain product options and answer customer questions
• Generate quotes and process sales
• Use QuickBooks and our Point of Sale (POS) system to complete transactions
• Help merchandise and organize the showroom
• Hang artwork, move furniture, and assist with showroom displays
• Work closely with the team to maintain a clean, attractive showroom
• Build lasting relationships with customers through excellent service

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred
• Experience using QuickBooks is required
• Experience using a Point of Sale (POS) system is required
• Interior design or decorating experience is a plus but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable performing light to moderate physical work, including moving furniture and hanging artwork
• Organized, dependable, and self-motivated
• Positive attitude and team-first mindset

Compensation

• Hourly pay based on experience
• Commission opportunities on furniture sales and custom orders
