Assistant Manager - Full-Service Casual Dining

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to join a well-established, high-volume casual dining restaurant known for its fresh burgers, tropical-inspired atmosphere, handcrafted drinks, and exceptional guest service. Key Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with daily Front-of-House and Back-of-House operations
• Lead and motivate restaurant team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences
• Supervise daily shifts while maintaining company standards for food quality, cleanliness, and hospitality
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop hourly employees
• Monitor labor, scheduling, inventory, food costs, and controllable expenses
• Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company operating procedures
• Support sales-building initiatives and local marketing efforts
• Maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on accountability and service excellence

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of restaurant management experience as an Assistant Manager, Restaurant Manager, or similar leadership role
• Experience in casual dining, polished casual, full-service, or high-volume restaurant concepts
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop restaurant teams
• Strong understanding of restaurant financials, including labor, food cost, inventory, and P&L fundamentals
• Excellent guest service and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Background

Candidates with leadership experience from well-known casual dining and polished casual brands such as burger restaurants, American grills, sports bars, family dining, or comparable high-volume full-service concepts are highly preferred.
