Part-Time Facility Laborer

Position Summary Rapid Deployable Systems is seeking a dependable Part-Time Facility Laborer to assist with the maintenance and upkeep of our facility and grounds. This hands-on position supports a clean, safe, and organized workplace through general maintenance, cleaning, and facility improvement projects. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain offices, restrooms, break rooms, production areas, and common spaces.
• Perform general building and grounds maintenance, including trash removal and outdoor upkeep.
• Assist with minor repairs, painting, and facility improvement projects.
• Move furniture, equipment, and materials as needed.
• Maintain organized storage and warehouse areas.
• Perform seasonal duties such as lawn care, snow removal, and salting walkways.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other facility and general labor duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in facilities maintenance, custodial work, landscaping, construction, or general labor is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work, including standing, bending, climbing ladders, and working both indoors and outdoors.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to workplace safety.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift throughout the workday.
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Work safely in a manufacturing environment around machinery, noise, and changing weather conditions when performing outdoor tasks.
