We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our growing team in Greer,SC The ideal candidate will have machining experience, with knowledge of surface grinding, tool sharpening, or precision finishing operations.
Hours: day shift
Pay : $18-24.00/hr.
Machinist Job
- Set up and operate machining equipment to produce high-quality parts and components
- Perform surface grinding, tool sharpening, and finishing operations as required
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Inspect parts and maintain quality standards using precision measuring instruments
- Make machine adjustments to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Machinist Qualifications
- Previous machining experience required
- Surface grinding and/or sharpening experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
