CNC Machinist w/Programming Skills $40/hour - Permanent Job

This position is a DIRECT HIRE ROLE from day one

Responsibilities:

• Program, setup and operate CNC multi-axis lathe and/or milling machines
• Using various metal types from raw stock to finished products
• Plan and layout work from customer drawings and other specifications
• Determine speeds, feeds, tolerances, and sequences of machine operations
• Make all setups and adjust machines as needed
• Fishing metal by hand or machine
• Using measuring instruments such as: vernier calipers, micrometers, surface gages, profilometer, CMM, vision systems and dial indicators
• Calculating complex and/or component angles and dimensions
• Using computer programs as needed

Qualifications:

• At least five years previous experience preferred
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Experience with measuring instruments

Hours are:

Monday through Thursday - 6am to 4:30pm

The pay is up to $40 an hour based on experience
