Job Description
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) plays a critical role in delivering applied behavior analysis services in school or home-based settings through individual client sessions. The RBT works closely under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior interventions, track progress, and support skill development tailored to each client’s needs. This role involves regular travel to client locations and active collaboration with supervisors and families to ensure effective treatment outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct behavior assessments and record data accurately
- Implement individualized intervention plans during client sessions
- Track and document client behavior and progress consistently
- Prepare materials and sessions tailored to client needs
- Communicate regularly with clients and caregivers regarding progress
- Report session outcomes and observations to supervising BCBA
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to optimize treatment strategies
- Support client skill development through direct intervention
- Travel regularly to school or home client locations for sessions
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in applied behavior analysis
