Commercial HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic

MEMCO Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic for a long-term commercial construction project in Cuero, TX. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, fabricating, and assembling HVAC duct systems in commercial and industrial construction environments.

This is an excellent opportunity for skilled sheet metal mechanics seeking steady work on a long-term project with a reputable contractor.

• Install commercial HVAC ductwork, fittings, dampers, grilles, and diffusers.
• Fabricate, assemble, and modify sheet metal duct systems as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and mechanical plans.
• Measure, cut, and install sheet metal components according to specifications.
• Install HVAC equipment supports and related mechanical components.
• Ensure all work complies with project specifications, safety standards, and building codes.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to complete project objectives.

• Minimum 3 years of commercial HVAC sheet metal experience preferred.
• Experience working on commercial or industrial construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of HVAC duct installation methods and industry best practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Valid Driver's License (Required)
• Clean Background Check (Required)
• Reliable Transportation
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening if required
• OSHA 10 Certification preferred but not required
• Must possess basic hand tools for the trade
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying jobsite conditions
