CNC Machinist / Operator (5+ Years Experience Required)

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented CNC Machinist / Operator to join our manufacturing team in Xenia, Ohio on the 1st Shift. The ideal candidate brings a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience setting up, programming, and operating CNC machinery. This position features a 50-hour standard work week and a flexible start time to accommodate your morning routine. [1]Schedule & Compensation

• Shift: 1st Shift
• Days: Monday through Friday
• Hours: 45-50 hours per week standard
• Overtime: Time and a half pay ($27.00 - $37.50/hr) for all hours worked over 40
• Flexibility: Flexible start time options available
• Pay Rate: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour base (Based on experience)
• Bonus: Quarterly bonuses based on performance and production goals [1]

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Setup: Configure CNC mills or lathes for production runs.
• Operation: Monitor machines for optimal performance, tool wear, and alignment.
• Programming: Interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and adjust G-code as needed.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Maintenance: Perform daily routine maintenance and cleaning on shop equipment.
• Troubleshooting: Identify mechanical issues and adjust machine offsets promptly.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of verifiable CNC operator experience required.
• Location: Ability to reliably commute to Xenia, OH.
• Equipment Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Haas, Smart, or Okuma machinery.
• Preferred Skill: Jig grinding experience is a major plus.
• Technical Skills: Proficient with G-code, M-code, and reading complex blueprints.
• Tool Knowledge: Expert usage of precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers).
• Physical Ability: Capable of standing for long shifts and lifting up to 50 lbs.
