Job Description
Position Summary
LaborMAX Staffing is currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector for a position in Carrollton, TX. The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for inspecting products and materials to ensure they meet company quality standards and specifications.
The ideal candidate is someone who pays close attention to detail, follows procedures, communicates well, and takes pride in producing quality work.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect products, materials, and finished goods for defects or quality issues.
- Perform visual inspections and measurements according to established standards.
- Identify and document damaged, defective, or non-conforming products.
- Verify products meet company specifications and customer requirements.
- Complete quality control checklists, inspection reports, and other required documentation.
- Communicate quality issues to supervisors and production personnel.
- Help identify recurring quality problems and assist with corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and findings.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures.
- Keep the inspection area clean, organized, and safe.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous quality control, inspection, manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and procedures.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Ability to identify defects and inconsistencies.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required by the position.
Preferred Skills
WILLING TO TRAIN
- Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, gauges, or similar equipment.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and documentation.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
