About the Role:
Empire Delivery Services Inc is looking for reliable and motivated Couriers to join our fast-paced team in New York, NY
Responsibilities:
- Pick up and deliver packages, documents, and goods to residential and commercial locations throughout New York City
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure on-time delivery
- Handle packages with care and maintain accurate delivery records
- Obtain signatures and confirm receipt of deliveries from customers
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients and recipients
- Inspect and report any vehicle or equipment issues promptly
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if vehicle-based delivery)
- Strong knowledge of New York City streets, neighborhoods, and traffic patterns
- Punctual, reliable, and highly organized
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Prior courier, delivery, or logistics experience is a plus
