Your hands-on involvement will contribute directly to the success of construction projects, from pouring foundations to finishing surfaces. If you are not in the Key Largo, FL area you must be willing to relocate at your own expense. There are no VISA's for this position either. Must be a US citizen or have legal authorization to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing to create smooth, durable surfaces.
• Operate power tools and hand tools safely for cutting, shaping, and installing formwork and rebar.
• Interpret blueprints and construction plans to understand specifications and project requirements.
• Set up and dismantle formwork structures for concrete placement according to technical drawings.
• Install rebar reinforcement securely within forms to ensure structural integrity.
• Use heavy equipment such as concrete pumps and mixers to facilitate efficient material placement.
• Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and safety protocols diligently during daily tasks.
• Support masonry, plastering, flooring installation, and renovation activities as needed on-site.
• Perform heavy lifting tasks safely while maintaining proper posture and technique.
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, materials, and debris regularly.

Experience

• Prior experience working on construction projects involving concrete work is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of construction estimating processes and interpreting technical drawings is a plus.
• Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Hands-on experience with concrete forming, finishing, cutting, and pouring techniques.
• Ability to operate power tools and heavy machinery such as concrete mixers and pumps safely.
• Basic carpentry skills related to formwork construction and blueprint specification interpretation.
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, working at heights or in confined spaces when required.
• Previous exposure to masonry, rebar installation, or hardscape projects is advantageous but not mandatory.
