Build Vehicles That Keep Businesses Running

At SRQ Auto, we don't repair everyday commuter vehicles—we prepare commercial trucks and fleet vehicles that businesses depend on to generate revenue every day.

From contractors and electricians to municipalities and transportation companies, our customers expect every vehicle to be Job Ready the day it leaves our dealership. That's why we're looking for an experienced Commercial Truck & Fleet Technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, works efficiently, and thrives without constant supervision.

If you're an experienced technician looking for a professional shop, consistent work, no weekend schedule, and the opportunity to earn excellent income, we'd like to meet you.

What You'll Work On

Our inventory includes:

  • Cargo Vans
  • Box Trucks
  • Utility & Service Body Trucks
  • Shuttle Buses
  • Fleet Vehicles
  • Light- & Medium-Duty Commercial Trucks

Every day brings a different challenge, making this an ideal position for technicians who enjoy variety and solving real-world mechanical problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair gasoline and diesel commercial vehicles
  • Perform comprehensive mechanical and safety inspections
  • Diagnose drivability, electrical, steering, suspension, brake, HVAC, and engine concerns
  • Accurately identify repair needs and recommend solutions
  • Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining exceptional quality
  • Help prepare every vehicle to meet our Job Ready Promise
  • Maintain organized repair documentation and communicate repair progress throughout the day
  • Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
  • Work closely with our reconditioning and service teams to keep inventory moving

What We're Looking For

We're searching for someone who takes ownership of their work—not someone who needs constant direction.

You'll be successful here if you:

  • Can prioritize your workload and stay productive throughout the day
  • Communicate repair status before delays become problems
  • Diagnose issues correctly instead of replacing parts by guesswork
  • Take pride in doing the job right the first time
  • Understand that every completed vehicle helps a business get back to work
  • Bring a positive attitude and professional work ethic every day

If you're dependable, accountable, and motivated by producing quality work, you'll fit in well with our team.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional automotive or commercial vehicle repair experience
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
  • Experience with commercial trucks, cargo vans, fleet vehicles, or medium-duty trucks preferred
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Professional attitude and attention to detail
  • Valid driver's license

ASE certifications and diesel experience are a plus but not required.

Why Technicians Like Working at SRQ Auto:

  • Monday–Friday schedule
  • No weekends
  • No retail service customers
  • No warranty repair headaches
  • No flat-rate pressure
  • Consistent year-round workload
  • Variety of commercial vehicles and fleet equipment
  • Professional, well-organized work environment
  • Long-term career opportunity with a growing company

Compensation

We believe exceptional technicians should be compensated accordingly.

Up to $51 per hour based on experience, plus meaningful monthly performance bonuses based on:

  • Productivity
  • Efficiency
  • Quality of workmanship
  • Accountability
  • Low comeback rate
  • Team contribution

Outstanding technicians who consistently deliver results will have the opportunity to earn significantly above their hourly wage.

Join a Team That Values Quality

At SRQ Auto, every vehicle represents someone's business. Whether it's a contractor heading to a jobsite, a fleet manager replacing critical equipment, or a transportation company serving its customers, the quality of your work makes a direct impact on their success.

If you're looking for more than just another mechanic job—and want to be part of a dealership that values professionalism, accountability, and doing things the right way—we'd like to talk with you.
