Machine Operator
Location: Maricopa, AZ
Shift: 1st Shift | 5:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Pay: $18.00/hour
Join Our Team as a Machine Operator
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Machine Operator to join our production team in Maricopa, AZ. This Machine Operator position plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by mechanically combining raw materials and operating production equipment used to create finished products. The ideal Machine Operator will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring machinery, maintaining production quality standards, and ensuring equipment is functioning properly throughout the shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate computer-controlled production systems that process multiple raw material ingredients in a mixing environment.
- Understand and support the mixing of active solution vessels, premixes, and raw material bases used in production.
- Set up machines at the beginning of each shift to ensure proper operation.
- Monitor machine performance throughout production runs to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Troubleshoot equipment and production issues with limited supervision.
- Perform machine testing procedures to verify optimal performance.
- Calibrate equipment at the start and end of shifts as required.
- Maintain and clean machines before, during, and after production.
- Feed production information, including speeds, sizes, and specifications, into machine control systems.
- Load and place parts into semi-automated production equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and quality checks on finished products.
- Perform safety audits and equipment safety checks.
- Ensure preventative maintenance activities are completed as scheduled.
- Maintain accurate records of raw materials, samples, production activities, and equipment operations.
- Operate a forklift to move materials throughout the facility.
- Ensure materials and supplies are stocked and available for production needs.
- Complete daily checklists, equipment inspections, and calibration records.
- Maintain activity logs and downtime reports.
- Keep assigned work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, production, machine operation, or industrial experience preferred.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic equipment and production issues.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies.
- Comfortable working around machinery and production equipment.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as needed.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attendance record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
